Couples Counseling

Being in relationship is one of the most rewarding, and most challenging, things you can do.  And it is especially tough because all the rules have changed in the last generation or so.  This results in a lot of floundering and very few role models to follow.

“Happily Ever After” does not happen without work.

We need to learn how to support each other, and hold on to ourselves while we are with another person.  We need to toss out unexamined expectations, and replace them with negotiated agreements.

We need to learn how to navigate disagreements, and use them to support growth.

Love is wonderful.  And love is not enough.  We need to learn to love wisely and well.
